OM pavilion displacing the past with present, heaviness with lightness, filling emptiness with air, silence with voices – places with people. Our intention is to generate attraction, curiosity and surprise in order to boost social engagement. For bringing natural harmony into play, the place is structured by the golden section. Not only it fulfils its purpose of boosting social engagement, OM leads by example throughout its interaction with the elements (wind becomes sounds and movement, voices are echoed, rain is redirected, light and surroundings reflected). OM generates settings for both intimate and collective interactions in terms of sitting, flexibility and freedom of movement. The surrounding space flows unobstructed both visually and physically, continuing on the vertical dimension which increases the natural ventilation of the area. The whole structure is reusable or recyclable since no damage will be produced during installation or usage.
